XCELerate is another wonderful opportunity offered by Elanora SHS. The program is designed for Year 6 students and is intended to challenge and provide them with an exciting transition opportunity to high school. This program is an exclusive initiative built on partnerships between Elanora State High School and our local primary schools, offering a fantastic chance to make friends with like-minded students before officially starting high school. We understand that the transition to high school can be scary, which is why XCELerate is here to make it so much easier and FUN!
The XCELerate Program offers fun fortnightly enrichment sessions commencing in Semester 1, in subject areas such as Science, The Arts, Food Technologies, Industrial Technologies, and Japanese. Imagine experimenting with fun scientific experiments, unleashing your creativity through art, learning new culinary skills and cooking techniques, and so much more. Best of all, you will be making lifelong friends – all before your high school journey begins. You get to start the first day surrounded by familiar faces – the power of XCELerate at Elanora SHS.
