Mick Platt winner of the 2023 TEACHX Awards, which recognises outstanding excellence and contribution to the teaching profession.
Mick Platt and our Guidance Office Mick Watson selflessly runs our SoulSk8 skateboard building workshop which encourages meaningful conversations with students and their families. In addition to this, Mick builds and maintains our school's community gardens and promotes men's mental health through planned events as a way to encourage everyone to look out for each other and improve their wellbeing.

Griffith University Excellence in Secondary Teaching Awards Winner Ms Sarah King. We would like to congratulate Sarah King who was named the winner of the Teacher of the Year for 2021/22.This is an outstanding achievement and I just wanted to share with you some very exciting facts the school as a whole should celebrate and be proud of. The following list of outstanding staff members have been recognised at the top of their profession and I for one think this is something we should be sharing over and over. Elanora has many exceptional teachers and staff.
