Our Concert Band has celebrated an outstanding result at the 2026 Quota Beenleigh Eisteddfod, placing 1st in the Concert Band Secondary Schools Year 12 and Under section at the end of July.
The achievement is a reflection of the dedication and hard work our students have put into their music throughout the year. With rehearsals continuing across the semester and an intensive band camp in the lead-up to the competition, students had the opportunity to put their preparation into practice on the performance stage.
The eisteddfod also provided valuable feedback for the band as they continue to develop their performance ahead of the Gold Coast Eisteddfod.
A special thank you to Mrs Cooper, who stepped in to conduct the band for the event while Miss Kesting was on leave.
