BYOD at Elanora State High School
As part of our Secondary School Pathway offerings, Elanora State High School is providing students with the opportunity to participate in our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program.
This program has been developed in alignment with the ACARA framework and our vision for school-wide technology use. It will allow students to engage with the curriculum through a laptop of their choosing.
In 2023 all students from years 7 to 11 at Elanora State High School will be participating in the BYOD program.
Students participating in this program need an appropriate device (outlined below), and need to have it set up to access the schools online materials. The school's eLearning team support students with this process in an ongoing basis.
BYOD in the Senior School (Year 12 Only)
In 2023, Elanora State High School Senior Year 12 students have the opportunity to bring their own device for use in classrooms.
Senior students opting into this program need to complete the Elanora SHS BYOD Charter, and they will have access to all the online catalogue of resources. Students interested in this simply need to bring their device into the HUB to have it set up for access.
