Study tour programs
At Elanora State High School we have multiple study tour programs throughout the year ranging from 1-4 weeks at a time.
We offer many diverse, culturally rewarding programs for our International students. So they can immerse themselves in Australian culture, develop their strengths and talents in the academic arena and showcase their social and sporting skills to our Elanora students. It is beneficial if you wish to continue with further studies in Australia as a Study Abroad or Graduate student through EQI.
We also look forward to our annual study tour groups from Lizen High School in Taiwan and Yokosuka in Japan.
Our school community enjoys the cultural exchange between all the staff and students and homestay families. Our buddy program is very successful with providing our international visitors with support and guidance throughout their stay with us.
Our study tour programs usually include:
- ESL (English as a Second Language) Teachers are qualified teachers, lessons are fun and educational.
- Special activities like Australian art, dance, music, boomerang painting, Australian dance and cooking are also available, where you can make Australian ANZAC biscuits, lamingtons and even kangaroo burgers!
- Sport activities are always included and students may enjoy AFL (Aussie Rules) skills and coaching class, baseball, t-ball classes, basketball and badminton.
- Lessons with school buddies are also part of our study tour programs.
- Currumbin Wildlife Excursions - where you can cuddle a koala and have your photo with kangaroos
- Day Trip to Byron Bay
- Australian Animal Reptile Show
