Weekly sport at Elanora State High School allows students to participate in a range of physical pursuits from organised inter-school team competitions to individual recreational style sports.

All students require full school uniform and appropriate footwear to participate in all sporting activities.

Following is what the sporting year looks like at Elanora State High School:

Term one and two

Sports on offer to all students:

AFL, basketball, cricket, netball, rugby league, touch, soccer, volleyball and fitness first.

Term three

Years 8 and 9

Rotational inter-house games

SET planning

Personal development

Year 12 

QCS training & certificate course work

Term four

Years 8, 9 and 10 - recreational sports

Sports on offer are:

Golf, aerial angels, surfing, fitness first, tenpin bowling, ice skating, fishing, running club, tennis, body boarding, surf craft, standup paddle boarding, clowning, chess.
