40-Hour Famine

29/07/2016

Elanora State High School will be participating in the 40 hour famine this year on August 19-20. The purpose is that by giving up something that matters to you for 40 hours, you can raise awareness and funds to help fight global hunger. You can give up food, technology, furniture or talking – anything that matters to you!

You’ll be supporting World Vision projects that help families improve their nutrition by learning about healthcare and how to prepare healthy meals.

You’ll also help deliver long-term solutions to hunger, like savings groups, better farming practices and small business training. With your help, children and families can break free from poverty and hunger.

You can join the Elanora State High School team by clicking on the link in the menu to the right. The link will take you to a sign up page and from there you will then be given the opportunity to join the Elanora State High School team.
